I was so excited to hear from Jake’s grandmother, that she was wanting to have his loss of 2 front teeth memorialized. Most people overlook this mile-marker in their children’s lives, but funny enough, it typically makes for some amazingly great photographs. We also got grand-dad to step into a few images…and needless to say, these are the images that make me gush. (with many tears
)
I could hang out with this cutie-patootie all day!!!
Enjoy~

Recently, I had the honor of photographing Seth, a graduating senior. We had a hard time getting his portraits taken, from bad weather days to a grueling sports schedule. But we finally were able to make it happen and along with a night of images from a football game I covered to his afternoon session downtown and at Lee Senior, we came away with some memorable images.
A new product for me: a composite of imagery that is just like art. Unique and one-of-a-kind, this piece really says a lot about Seth.
Enjoy~

Today I heard back from a parent through email that her daughter, who I photographed last weekend for today’s pageant, won Photogenic, along with Grand Supreme. I feel so honored to have been asked to photograph this lovely girl, and for her to have won!!!
Isn’t she simply beautiful???

I recently got to photograph the newest addition to the Payne family, little Belle. It took Belle a while to make it home, as she had some tummy issues, but once those issues have been remedied, she has thrived!
The Payne Family have been very good to me over the years, by allowing me to participate in the important events in their lives: from wedding to new babies, I feel truly honored.
I cannot wait to watch both Belle and her brother Levi grow, as I have seen big brother Quinton do so quickly!
Enjoy!

As anyone who knows me well will tell you, I am a terrible blogger/facebooker/twitterer, etc…and I am not exaggerating!
I have a bit of an issue with writing in general, but the thought of trying to put feelings into words simply terrifies me.
With all of that said, my New Year’s goal for 2012 is to actually blog about every single session I photograph (ha!)! At the very least, cover a vast majority of the sessions.
In my next post, I will be showing my favorite images of 2011…so stay tuned.

Lucky me, lucky me! During a breakfast in Charlotte, NC, a good friend of mine, Sharon, thought up the idea to have me down to Atlanta in the fall to photograph her and her friends for Christmas. She was able to round up 10 families for the weekend, and I had a blast. I feel really lucky to have been able to spend that much time with Sharon and her family (special, special people) and to get to meet all of her friends. They all made me feel really special, and I think we got some great photos on top of it all!
